The Bangladeshi American Advocacy Group (BAAG) has officially endorsed Mary Jobaida for Assembly District 36 on December 14th at 2:00 PM.

Despite 28-degree, freezing weather and snow, community members braved the cold to join the rally in strong support!

Mary has been an integral part of BAAG’s advocacy team for over a decade. Over the years, she has played a key role in advancing critical issues, including inclusive food policies in public facilities, recognition of Eid holidays in schools, driver’s licenses for undocumented New Yorkers, the Garb Bill, environmental justice, and more. She has consistently stood with the community—advocating alongside BAAG in local offices and making multiple trips to Albany to fight for our priorities.

BAAG was also the earliest organization to endorse Zohran Mamdani for Mayor when he announced his candidacy.
